The Young Entrepreneur Vocational Academy (YEVA) Charter School Project is designed for the purpose of assisting in the expansion and development of the Summerton community facility to provide educational and cultural activities that will spawn economic development.

The project is located in the central business district of Downtown Summerton, SC on U.S. Hwy 301 North Main Street. The project site included four storefront buildings that total 10,731 square feet and one vacant parking lot. The primary intent of the project is to serve as a charter school for entrepreneurial vocational education.

The building will accommodate a public access library, a media center, traditional classrooms, and an art studio accompanied by an art gallery. The secondary use of the project will be commercial spaces such as retail spaces, a café, and a beauty shop. Also, an emphasis will be placed on maintaining the project’s necessary aspects of historic preservation.
