Joudeh Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Center New Office Building 227 South Pendleton Street Easley, South Carolina |
| Completed in March 2007, The Upstate Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Center, designed for Dr. Samer A. Joudeh, is becoming one of the historic city's signature buildings. The surgery center is broken into five zones: client, administrative, circulatory, surgical, and support. Special consideration was made for the exterior of the office. In an effort to honor the city's storied past and ambience, brick was used extensively on the exterior and a classical arch was created through the use of tapered cast stone headers. A modern accent, however, was achieved through the subtle introduction of glass and steel detailed. Concrete planter walls mirror the buildings sinuous lines while adding foliage to the site. | ||

Timken Bearing Plant Plant Expansion and Office Addition 430 Torrington Road Walhalla, South Carolina |
| Context Design Group teamed with Design/Build partner THS Constructors, to deliver an 80,000 square foot expansion to Timken Bearing Plant in Walhalla, South Carolina. The project consists of a plant expansion, dining facility, office addition, and dock renovation. Context's unique architectural interpretation transformed the lobby from a bland integration into the showpiece of the facility. In creating a bolder statement, the existing building envelope is left visible from within the lobby while the added elements of transparent and translucent glass, zinc clad walls, floor finishes, and supporting steel appear as distinct attachments. Exposed steel beams finish the lobby design while establishing a plane which extends toward a multi-piece display and sculptural garden. | ||

Cornerstone National Bank Data and Operations Center 1664 E. Main Street Easley, South Carolina |
| Context Design Group designed an 11,000 square foot Data and Operations Center primarily to perform as the electronic, communications, and data nucleus for the corporation. Technology was of primary importance. The client requested architecture to that of their corporate headquarters located on the same site.
