The Savannah Terminal of the Georgia Ports Authority is one of the busiest terminals in the world in terms of containerized cargo. Due to Context Design Group’s involvement in planning sessions with BMW, Context was asked to facilitate similar sessions for the GPA in order to more effectively develop a long term site-wide master plan for the year 2020.

Context held a week long programming session at the Georgia Ports Authority’s Headquarters which involved members from GPA’s executive office, mid-level management, and operations staff.

The sessions were conducted in the manner that has been tried and proven by members of Context’s staff. The data obtained was used to create a Conceptual Programming Summary Report which is intended to evolve for years to come as GPA’s needs as well as market demands and trends change.
