

This project consisted of 200,000 SF of manufacturing space to provide automobile parts to the U.S. automobile manufacturers. David Lewis, AIA was the Architect of Record for this project in 1993. Plastic Omnium was one of the original Tier 1 suppliers to come to the United States with BMW in 1992.
This facility is the main production plant in the US for Plastic Omnium. It produces both Facials and gas tanks for most of the new OEM’s in the Southeast United States. This facility is the main facility in a three facility supply chain network capable of providing In-sequence Parts to the OEM.

The facility includes heavy industrial areas to produce both injection and blow molded parts. The facility has a 30 Metric Ton Bridge Crane with an 80’ clear span with a clear height of 35’. The facility also includes a "state of the art" paint line with automated robotic application technology.
Facility was designed to be the North American Headquarters for the French Automotive Parts Manufacture.
